Patenburg is located in Boulogne Billancourt, western Paris, France, and is a historic military defense fortification. Built in the 19th century, it was part of the Paris city defense system and was used to defend against possible invasions. The name comes from French engineer Jean Louis Pat, who designed this fortress in the mid-19th century. The architectural style reflects the characteristics of military architecture at that time, with thick walls and sturdy structures to resist enemy attacks. Over time, the military role of Fort Pat gradually weakened, but it was repurposed and now serves as a cultural and educational center.
